Second Practitioner workshop
We would like to invite you to our upcoming STEPWISE practitioner workshop, hosted by Crisisplan, BV in Leiden, the Netherlands.
The two-year STEPWISE project is funded by the European Commission’s Internal Security Fund – Police Action Grant. It aims to deliver an innovate platform to support the cooperation, coordination an cross-sectoral preparedness of Law Enforcement Agencies and their partners (public and private) involved in the design and protection of public spaces.
Using STEPWISE, security professionals can perform the following activities:
- Assessing
vulnerability of public spaces
- What types of threats are we exposed to?
- Creating
innovative security plans
- How can we minimize our exposure?
- Devising
effective response plans
- How would we respond to a particular event?
- Assessing
plans against various threat situations
- Does our plan work well?
- Training in Virtual Reality: improving readiness of first responders in a joint operation set in a mock-up environment
Your role in the workshop would be to test the beta release version of the system and share your feedback. STEPWISE is a user-driven project, seeking continuous input from practitioners to ensure it is an innovative platform that improves on current assessment and planning practices
We hope you will join us! Please inform us of your availability by contacting Maureen Weller at weller@crisisplan.nl or +31 (0) 71 5730 551.
